Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA: the baseline
A screen-reader user opens a course and it just works, no complaint filed, no remediation later. Federal and state agencies must meet Section 508, so we build for it from the start, and content ships VPAT-ready. Courses that fail on first submission don’t ship.
Saba and SumTotal history has to survive
A record from five years back comes up in a review and it’s intact: right date, right course version, defensible. DoD agencies and state systems hold years of history in Saba, now part of Cornerstone’s own product family. We’ve run the migrations where that old history still has to stand up, and we map the edge cases before they surface.
Everything the IG can reconstruct
When an Inspector General asks who completed what, when, and under which course version, the answer is already assembled, not reconstructed from memory. A Certified Cornerstone Expert with more than ten years on the platform keeps that record intact as a matter of course, and the knowledge lives in the platform, not in one person’s head, so nothing resets when staff rotate.

We work alongside your security team, inside whatever access scope they define: least privilege, reviewed periodically, documented. If they want to audit our access log, we expect it.
